The Bangabandhu National Stadium will not be used for any match of the
T20 World Cup 2014. State minister for sports Ahad Ali Sarkar
confirmed it in a press conference at the National Sports Council.
The inauguration ceremony of the 50-over World Cup 2011 was staged at
the stadium although no match was played there.
